Brook is a selfish young lady that thought of no one but herself. Since she is a beautiful young lady, she had every single young man’s attention. She would go about flaunting herself as if to be on a display of some sort.
There was one guy that never seen her like all the others did, and he was the one she really wanted. She would do her act in front of him to be noticed, until the day came that she walked out in front of him and another guy, throwing a baseball. When it hit her right square in her eyes, causing it to become black and blue. She learned the hard way after he never shown her any remorse, but he yelled at her and called her names.
Jeremiah James was a young man that would follow her to the ends of the earth just to be with her. He has loved her ever since grade school. But to Brook he was nothing but a menace and a pest. She mistreated him badly in front of others, but yet he always found his way back to her.
Even his friend Jonas tried to tell him that she was no good, but he swore one day he would make her his wife.
One day Brook over hear two goodie-to-shoes, she would call them. they were talking about Jeremiah, and how they would do anything to become his girlfriend or even his wife.. One spoke that Jeremiah was going to be the new pastor of the church Brook belonged too. It was then she knew that she needed to hook her claws into him, so no other lady stood a chance of taking him.
